Berkes Promoted to Manufacturing and Quality Engineer for LeMar Industries

DES MOINES, Iowa, U.S.A. — Jacob Berkes has been promoted to Manufacturing and Quality Engineer for LeMar Industries, a Division of CTB Midwest Inc., according to Nicholas Kiederlen, Plant Manager for the CTB, Inc. business unit. In his new position, Berkes will be responsible for designing and implementing process and quality improvements for LeMar’s Des Moines, Iowa facility.

Berkes has been a CTB employee since 2015, previously holding the positions of Quality Control, Designer I, II, and III, Detailing Lead, and Structural Designer. Prior to joining CTB, he gained nine years of construction and supervisory experience in the Carroll, Iowa area.

He is a graduate of Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa, where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in both Industrial Technology and Agricultural Systems Technology.

A native of Carroll, Iowa, he currently resides in Waukee, Iowa.
