Brock’s unique WELL-GARD® Discharge Guard mounts directly to Brock’s HARVEST-TIME® Sweep to help maintain a continuous flow of grain out of the bin while eliminating bin entry to install the sweep or remove the discharge guard. By guarding the entire area of the well opening from the top of the sweep, the WELL-GARD Unit helps ensure zero-bin entry and limits bridging and blockage caused by chunks of grain. - Save time and labor, and improve safety – no entering the bin to break up blockages.
- Install the WELL-GARD unit and Sweep before loading the bin – no further need for bin entry as the bin empties.
The optional WELL-GARD Discharge Guard is designed to cut or break up chunks threatening to block the discharge well of the bin. The pyramid-shaped guard is also engineered to stop chunks that will not break up, allowing grain to continue flowing around the chunk and into the well. - Constructed of heavy galvanized, bolted steel for a long, rust-resistant life. The guard attaches to the power sweep to prevent dislodging during bin filling.
- Used alone or with the sweep, Brock’s WELL-GARD unit provides a simple, inexpensive and safety-enhancing solution to a potentially serious grain handling problem.
